Tom Staunton

About Tom Tom joined the Laaser Lab in September 2021, where he is working with Victoria on measuring mechanochemical activation in polymer networks. Tom is a chemistry major, but is also minoring in classics, and outside of the lab, he likes to rock climb!

Conner Chee

About Conner Conner joined the Laaser Lab in January 2021, where he is working on understanding how the linear viscoelasticity of polyelectrolyte complex coacervates depends on their chemical compositions.

Paige Moncure

About Paige Paige is a fifth-year graduate student in physical chemistry. She joined the Laaser Lab in January of 2018 (co-advised with Jill Millstone), and is currently working on developing light scattering-based techniques for studying interactions between polymers and inorganic nanoparticles. Zijian Huo

About Zi Zi grew up in Guangzhou, China and came to the U.S. to receive his A.S. degree from Community College of Philadelphia. He then transferred to Temple University to complete his B.S. in chemistry with a minor in Mathematics. He joined the Laaser lab in 2017, where he is working on mechanochemical activation in […]

Jennifer Laaser

About Prof. Laaser Prof. Laaser is a physical chemist with a strong interest in polymer physics and polymeric materials. She received her Ph.D in 2013 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she worked with Martin Zanni to develop new methods in ultrafast spectroscopy for investigating the structure and dynamics of molecules at interfaces. After leaving […]
